Once again, the club is supporting the Costa Mesa High School Girls Basketball Tournament. We provide the trophies and handle ticket sales and admission to the tourney. Thanks to Charlie for organizing this marvelous event. And who says that Kiwanians don’t sell tickets?

We are also supporting the Estancia Winter Classic Basketball Tournament, sponsored by the Lions Club. Thanks to Joe, Fran, and Jim S. for purchasing ads in the tourney program booklet. The club also has purchased an ad.

In return for the nearly 50,000 hours of service we provide, Phoenix Company – the firm that designs and builds our floats – will make a generous donation to the California-Nevada-Hawaii Kiwanis District Foundation(more)

On Friday, December 18th, Kiwanians, Builders, and Boys & Girls Club (BGC) staff held a Christmas party for members of the BGC. Planned by the Builders, the party included Karaoke, games, snacks, and gifts for all. For the first time, we added face painting to the program. “Junior Staff,” older members, many of whom are former Builders helped with all the activities.
